Hi! I'm Blume Bauer, and I've been blending artistry with entrepreneurship since 1996. Armed with a Fine Arts degree and three decades of experience, I've made it my mission to reimagine what's possible when creativity meets business savvy.

 

My artistic journey has been quite the colorful adventure! I've worn many creative hats - from ensuring picture-perfect moments as a Production Manager in a professional portrait studio to spreading joy nationwide on Kodak's marketing team. I've directed events, designed websites, created magazine layouts, and even organized an artist retreat that still makes my heart smile when I think about the transformations that happened there.

 

My entrepreneurial spirit? Well, it just couldn't be contained! I'm the creative force behind The Yellow Desk blog (where I turned my dreams of waterfront living into reality), The Yellow Boutique (where I transform art into wearable, cozy, and functional treasures), and now, my absolute pride and joy - The Yellow Studio!

 

Why yellow, you ask? Simple! It represents sunshine, happiness, and those brilliant "aha!" moments that make learning exciting. Here at The Yellow Studio, I'm passionate about helping fellow artists transform their creative talents into sustainable income streams through innovative approaches like print-on-demand. (Trust me, there's nothing quite like the thrill of seeing your art living in the wild on products people love!)

 

My teaching philosophy? "If I'm shinin', everybody gonna shine!" (Yes, I quote Lizzo and I'm not even sorry about it! 🎵) I believe learning should feel like having coffee with a friend who just happens to know all the creative business secrets - fun, engaging, and memorable long after our time together ends.

 

When I'm not guiding artist entrepreneurs toward their dreams, you'll find me collaborating with social media influencers, championing women in AI and tech, and working on my upcoming book about living your best artistic life. (Spoiler alert: it involves a lot of courage, tea, and creative thinking!)

 

I've created The Yellow Studio to be more than just a learning space - it's a warm, vibrant community where laughter mingles with learning, surprises pop up around every corner, and we do the deep, meaningful work of turning artistic passion into a profitable business reality.
